It is made of high-quality aluminium alloy, sturdy and durable. This kind of metal construction is also a perfect match for the camera body. The lock nut with Arca Swiss-Type plate design allows easy attachment and detachment. There also comes with a 1/4"-20 female thread on the bottom of the lock nut.
