It is normal if there's a play when the mount ring is not installed on a lens, once it's mounted on a lens, the locking system will secure the lens properly.
iShoot IS-RT1 tripod mount ring is designed for Nikon 300 F/4E PF and 70-200 F/4G lens. The tripod mount ring also features an arca-type interface so it can be mounted on any standard arca-swiss compatible ball heads or clamps (may not suitable for some RRS products).
By using a tripod mount ring you can take better pictures as the mount ring can give you setup a better balance and stabilisation.
Main features:
- Made of aviation aluminium by CNC precision machining, surface processed by anodic oxidation to avoid rust, with stainless steel screws and hollow weight design, it only weighs approximately 160g
- Compared to the original model, this mount ring has an enhanced structure and improved design, it features a convenient quick-release plate interface
- Tripod ring diameter is about 68mm, use of flocking to increase the contact surface area, three punctuation to help you align and mount the lens. Spring type fast lock for quick disassembly or adjustment. Removable quick release plate structure comes with 1/4 and 3/8 screw holes
- For Nikon AF-S 300mm F/4E PF ED VR and AF-S 70-200mm F/4G ED VR lens
